Stockholm Furniture fair

There'll be a fair few (haha totally unintentional pun!) posts on this, and forgive me for being a little slow, I'm sure you've seen plenty of coverage of the fair allover the internet so I'm not going to bore you with a comprehensive rundown of everything I saw, just the stuff I really think deserves another mention!

The stripy circus style tent was the 'Greenhouse' the young designers/design schools section of the fair, where I spent most of time. I really liked the tent and all the little details like the little tulips at the coffee bar!

The other shots are of the Design Bar and VIP area that were designed by interior architect and photographer Katrin Greiling The bar was really fun and despite the bold colours a nice relaxing space to gather yourself and rest your weary legs!

'the concept for the design bar reflects my experiences of recent years,
during which I have spent much time working and living in different cultures.
my goal has been to create an environment that draws on these global impressions,
rather than telling a linear story. I like visitors to be able to come here for a break from the
hustle and bustle of the fair. they become part of this stimulating environment,
which plays with ones perceptions of private and public space.' - katrin greiling
