Breakfast has definitely become my absolute favorite meal of the day. I grew up eating Shreddies and nothing else - by choice entirely (in case you should assume my Mum was a scrooge and only offered me fibre filled delights) then one day when I was about 9 they stamped a shiny 'new improved recipe' on the box and they never tasted the same. That was the end of my love affair and in fact the end of breakfast altogether! I don't remember how many years I spent skipping the most important meal of the day, but somewhere along the lines my Mum started welcoming me home from University in the holidays with what we now all call a heroes breakfast. Sometimes of the fried variety, sometimes croissants and fresh melon and strawberries but always accompanied by orange juice squeezed by her own fair hands that morning, SO SO GOOD!
So I guess this ones for my Mum! I cannot wait for a heroes breakfast when I eventually make it to Wales but for now I've been enjoying my own here in Sweden.

Granola with Blueberry and Banana yoghurt, fresh strawbs and syrup. & if thats not indulgent enough, out of shot is the epic cheeseboard; Gouda, Gruyere & Brie. The knäckebröd, Vetekaka and lingonberry that provide the perfect accompaniment to said cheese. Delightful... if I do say so myself
